Guillaume Pierrel :
High Mountain Guide, Ski Mountaineer, Filmmaker
Guillaume Pierrel is a certified high mountain guide, ski instructor for over 20 years, and founder of GEE Films Productions. He has completed all 82 Alpine peaks over 4000 meters, as well as the three legendary north faces of the Alps in under six months.
In 2021, he achieved a new route on the south ridge of Gasherbrum II (8,035 m) with his expedition team and directed his first documentary—a tribute to the early ski mountaineers and Himalayan pioneers. The film earned multiple awards at international festivals and was featured in the Montagne en Scène 2022 tour.
His notable achievements include the descent of Le Linceul on the Grandes Jorasses (2022), the Niche on Les Drus (2023), a first descent on Mount Cook, New Zealand (2024), and the pioneering ski descent of the South Face of Mount Robson, Canada (2025).
Guillaume's first professional camerawork was with Sherpas Cinema, and he now specializes in high-altitude and steep-ski cinematography. His work is driven by a deep respect for mountain heritage and a passion for storytelling through adventure.
Nicknamed "Gee" during a trip to Whistler in 2006, he later founded Guiding Epic Experiences (GEE), which evolved into GEE Films Productions in 2022—a company dedicated to creating impactful visual narratives in extreme environments.
